Does Iran stamp your passport?
In the new policy travelers to Iran will no longer have an Iranian visa attached to their passport or an enter/exit stamp on their passport. Therefore, visitors will be easily using the Visa Waiver Program to enter the US. IF you get your visa prior to your arrival, they will not stamp on your pass (e-visa).
What’s The Best Time to Travel to Iran?
When I’m asked when the best time to travel to Iran is, I respond—albeit cockily—with “When isn’t the best time?” Iran is a vast country with 4 Season climate as temperatures can Vary Widely, For instance when it's chilling in the North, it might be hot in the South. It is an incredible year-round destination offering travelers something new and different to wonder with each season that passes.
Mostly, the Ideal time to visit Iran is during the spring or at the end of the summer season until early November.
The Iranian New Year begins near the end of March, and the celebrations end at the beginning of April. This makes April one of the most crowded months of the year. With many people traveling to and within Iran during this month, most hotel rooms and plane tickets are sold out months in advance;
Fall and winter are the best time to travel to the southern Iran because of their pleasant climate and enjoy the beautiful beaches including Kish and Gheshm.
Is it compulsory for Females to wear hijab in Iran?
Unlike many countries, where there are unwritten rules regarding dress, behavior and topics of conversation, Iran makes it all very easy for visitors by laying these codes of conduct down in the law.
The Iranian attitude to dress code is more casual than you might expect, However these rules are not observed very strict like in many Islamic countries, especially for tourists and foreigners. There is no need to wear Burka here, Iranian women wear scarves (Roosari) – loosely covering their heads and it’s often styled to reveal some part of their hair.
Furthermore, you can cover your body with a loose manteau upper your knees and no matter what the color is! There are some wrong beliefs that your clothing must be dark, but there is absolutely no rule about the color of your cloth.
Travelling During Ramadan
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and Muslims fast during this month. As it’s not a part of Persian calendar, it shifts forward each year. Eating, drinking, and even smoking are not allowed in public from dawn until dusk. Since fasting is not obligatory for travelers, all hotels and several restaurants are allowed to serve travelers. Streets are relatively peaceful and quiet during the day but the shopping centers and restaurants are lively and bustling on the evening, when you can see the true nightlife of Iranians.
Is it safe enough to travel to Iran as a Solo Woman?
We can only answer this question with “YES”.As a solo female traveler, everything is really cool and you can enjoy every single bit of it.
It is a perfectly safe place and as many other countries, everyone loves their visit in this incredible country.
Of course, even if Iran is safe, you need to be careful like in every other place. Use your common sense, follow the rules, respect local culture and people and you shouldn’t have any problems!
Is it true that I Can't drink alcoholic beverages in Iran?
Alcoholic drink has been illegal since the 1979 revolution in Iran.
Just as mentioned, using, selling, or buying alcohol is basically illegal for anyone within the borders and bear in mind that tourists cannot take advantage of their duty-free alcohol allowance when coming to Iran.
Do I need to purchase travel insurance at the airport? and How does it cost?
When planning your trip to Iran, we know health is a very important point of the whole plan and it is on top of TODO list for all tourists.You should know that since 2011 it became compulsory to have a valid health insurance for anyone trying to get an Iranian visa and if you don’t have any insurance and can’t prove it, the authorities will make you buy insurance before issuing your visa at any international airport.Prices are suspiciously cheap, though, with rates starting at 20€ for travel insurance for 1 month.

Yes, There are ATM machines in Iran but Tourists can't use them during their trip because they are just available for people whom have Iranian account and Card.
make sure you have enough cash with you when traveling through Iran because even though there are ATMs all over the country, they are not connected to international banking system. that means your international credit/debit cards won’t work in Iran.Repeat, bring all you’ll need in cash.
Are Western toilets everywhere?
Tourists who come to travel to Iran quickly have to face one of their biggest fear: using squat toilets! “squat toilet” is the common type of toilets which is used by Iranians.
However, the majority of restaurants, cafés, and sites that you visit have Western toilets nowadays and it's better to take advantage! When your business is done, use the water pipe next to you (or the water pot) to clean yourself up and be careful! throw it in the garbage bin and not inside the toilets, if you don't want to clog the pipes. Indeed, Iranians can't imagine not using water to clean themselves and you will always find water in the toilets.
And the last! There are no restrooms on buses, but they do make some regular stops at rest areas.
